Talk to Someone Who’s Been There

A cancer diagnosis can bring a wide range of emotions – not only for the person diagnosed, but also for the loved ones and caregivers walking alongside them. You may feel worried and anxious about treatment, managing daily responsibilities, or supporting your family during an uncertain time. Feelings of loneliness, isolation, depression, or overwhelm are common for both patients and caregivers.

What if you could connect with someone who has been right where you are?

Since 1979, Lee’s Friends has been committed to helping cancer patients navigate the challenges of cancer. Through our partnership with Imerman Angels, cancer patients, survivors, previvors, caregivers, and those grieving a cancer loss can be matched one-on-one with a Mentor Angel who has faced a similar experience and understands the unique challenges they are enduring.

Whether you are living with cancer yourself, diagnosed with a genetic mutation that puts you at high risk of receiving a cancer diagnosis, or caring for someone you love, connecting with someone who has walked a similar path can provide understanding, hope, practical insights, and emotional support when you need it most.

Through this partnership, you can receive free, personalized peer support if you are:

  • A person diagnosed with cancer
  • A cancer survivor
  • A previvor facing hereditary cancer risk
  • A caregiver, family member, or friend supporting someone with cancer
  • Someone grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer

Together, Lee’s Friends and Imerman Angels are committed to ensuring that no one faces cancer alone. Click the links below to get started.
